LOVE the little bakery

Did you catch last months post with this scrummy Millionaire Chocolate Tart? It’s such a nice alternative to the traditional Millionaire Shortbread slice, where the sweetness of the chocolate and caramel works really nicely against the pastry casing. The recipe is easy, but requires egg yolks and not the whites. So what to do when you have leftover egg whites – you make meringues of course!

These Meringue Kisses are really fun to whip up. They are super cute. Colourful. And damn right adorable. The best part .. You only need two ingredients to make them! Unless you want to colour them and then it’s only three. Oh I love a simple bake! This recipe came courtesy of BBC Good Food, with a few tweaks to measurements and a little simple maths, it was enough to make a perfect batch!
