Okay, these are by far one the more sought after things I make around this house. Definitely easier than cinnamon rolls, no need for yeast and hoping and praying that it rises.
They do take a bit of work, but I always make the cinnamon chips one to two days in advance, get them ready (they keep for up to a week in an air tight container), and then the day I make the scones it only takes a few minutes, as everything is done in the food processor.
Speaking of my food processor, my favorite Kitchenaid food processor died recently and so I bought a new one (not Kitchenaid) and I’m less than impressed. It’s smaller than the one I had, definitely no where near as powerful and I’m not sure it does as good of a job as my Kitchenaid did in making scones and possibly biscuits (I’ll…
